Ausphin is humbled to celebrate the progress we made in a short span of time. As time flies, we managed to prove that we can overcome challenges we encounter. Before we welcome a new year ahead, Ausphin is glad to share a quick look back on the milestones unlocked this 2017.

Two main gatherings we’ve celebrated for this year include a series of nation-wide Career Seminars for the whole month of September and the most-awaited 2nd Cook-Off kitchen battle for November. For our career seminars, Ausphin travelled around the different parts of Luzon and Central Visayas – Taguig, Baguio, Batangas, Pampanga, and Cebu to reach several culinary and hospitality students and professionals to offer them an opportunity for career development and growth. The 2nd cook-off battle was sought after by many culinary institutions around the Philippines but Ausphin only selected six (6) students to compete out of the many applicants to represent their schools. The participants had the chance to showcase their skills and to bring it to a higher level. The live competition was open for all and was held at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. These events further encouraged attendees to be more competitive in the industry and interact with different peers with the same dreams as theirs.

Besides providing an Australian Scholarship from the annual Cook-off champion, we got more than 200 trainees who started their traineeship in Australia early this year and most of them are on the process of completing their requirements for a work visa!

Not only did Ausphin assign trainees on their respective areas, we also assure that they will get the best training experience they will always treasure. An Ausphin representative puts keen attention on the entire recruitment and traineeship process by monitoring their growth, visiting them regularly to check their progress, giving them the support they need to ace their traineeship, and that will help them eventually gaining permanent placement in Australia.

This 2017, we gained new industry partners who are also passionate when it comes to culinary and hospitality industry, we are closing the year with more than 100 industry partners which is a mix of casual and fine dining restaurants, bars, cafes and hotels, as we continue to build highly skilled individuals in their workforce. Ausphin is also in full support to AuSkills Inc. as our exclusive local consultancy partner in the Philippines. Both companies have been focused with creating Visume International Portfolio or V.I.P. which we believe that is an excellent way for our candidates to stand out from the competition and showcase their personality, communication and interpersonal skills, and culinary skills.

We are also proud partners with Ausphin International Institute, a globally recognized Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO), to help aspiring professionals advance their careers and live out their culinary goals are stronger than ever! Ausphin International Institute’s short courses are compressed into three, six, or nine sessions.  Hospitality professionals can join and finish a short course in just a week! The certificate training courses are modified for maximum learning in just a short span of time. If the enrolees are willing to invest more in what they started, a couple of weeks may not be that hassle. After six months, they can be granted an International Diploma in Culinary Arts and Development. And in just as short as 12 months, they can gain a Certificate in Fundamental Culinary Arts and Management.

It has been a memorable year filled with exciting opportunities shared with aspiring people. We, at Ausphin, are grateful to share these accomplishments with our industry partners, trainees, graduates and employees who equally played a part in this year’s success. In 2018, we will continue to work hard to provide excellent opportunities abroad for our determined culinary and hospitality aspirants.

With our new partnerships with Auskills Inc. and Ausphin International Institute, we are sure to deliver our promise to our industry partners in providing them highly skilled individuals to strengthen their workforce and continue building long-term relationships amongst our trainees and industry partners. Also, part of our commitment to reach more talented candidates, we aim to organize career seminars and visit more places for the coming year.

There is more in store for our candidates, trainees and industry partners. We look forward to Ausphin’s 3rd Cook-Off and new exciting activities we’re cooking for 2018. Cheers to changing lives, honing talents, reaching dreams and strengthening partnerships for the new year and the next years to come!
